How does online therapy work?

Online therapy is a video session that takes place on a secure platform. All you need is strong WIFI, a quiet space and a phone, tablet or computer to access your client portal and start your session.

Do you offer in-person sessions?

Not at this time. All sessions are currently remote.

What can I expect during my first appointment?

The first session is a chance for us to establish the therapeutic relationship and build rapport. It will not be a therapy session, but an information gathering session. I will ask you questions to get a better understanding of what is bringing you to therapy, what your goals are and how I can support you.

How long do I need to be in therapy?

The length of time someone is in therapy is unique to each individual and their treatment goals. I will make recommendations based on your goals and your progress, however the length of time you commit to therapy is up to you.
In my experience, most people start with weekly sessions when they first get started and transition to bi-weekly maintenance sessions when we feel that they’re meeting their goals and they’re approaching graduation.
