Each clients journey is unique and is determined largely upon their willingness to show up for themselves and do the work to reach their goals. Dialectical Behavioral Therapy
Evidenced-based psychotherapy that focuses on skills training and includes mindfulness, emotional regulation, interpersonal effectiveness and distress tolerance.
A counseling method that involves enhancing one's motivation to change by means of resisting the righting reflex, understanding the clients own motivations, listening with empathy, and empowering the client.
A scientific study of what makes life most worth living, focusing on both individual and societal well-being. Comprises of understanding positive emotions entails contentment with the past, happiness in the present, and hope for the future.
Solution Focused Therapy
A short term goal focused evidenced based therapeutic approach which incorporates positive psychology principles and practices and helps clients change by constructing solutions rather than focusing on problems.
A form of counseling that views people as separate from their problems and destructive behaviors. This allows clients to get distance from the difficulty they face; this helps them see how it might actually be protecting them, more than hurting them.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
A psychosocial intervention that aims to reduce symptoms of various mental health conditions, primarily depression and anxiety disorders by helping clients see the connection between thoughts, behaviors, and feelings as it relates to unhealthy patterns.
